Beginning Aikido<\/strong> – Focus on Kihon-waza (basic technique).<\/p>\n Advanced Aikido<\/strong>\u00a0– Deeper look at technique, movement, variations.<\/p>\n Zazen<\/strong> – Seated Meditation<\/p>\n Iai Batto Ho<\/strong> – Iaido is a separate martial art from Aikido. Iaido is ‘the Art of Drawing the Sword” or Battodo. It is also referred to as “The Way of Mental Presence and Immediate Reaction”. This class will focus on kata and traditional weapon work. An Iaito is not required but recommended.<\/p>\n Aikido Weapons<\/strong> – Traditional aikido weapons, bokken, tanto and jo will be taught. All ZAA weapons requirements will be covered throughout this class.<\/p>\n Aikido Test Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n Zazen<\/strong> – Seated Meditation<\/p>\n Emphasis on basic aikido technique.
